$225.00

1900 era 24" No 12 panel saw with 12 point cross cut teeth. Blade is clean and mostly bright, etch fully legible, 6 5/8" high at heel. Intricately carved apple handle has minor wear and a few dings, finish 90%. Blade appears to have had some water on it at some point which resulted in cosmetic dark lines on the blade which can be seen in the photos. They are only cosmetic and do not harm the function of the saw in any way.

This saw represents the smallest tooth size that Disston practically sold. While you could buy a saw with teeth up to 16 points, the smallest I have ever seen in almost 30 years of collecting is 12 points per inch. This saw cuts smooth with minimum set and will make a great user for fine crosscuts. The cosmetic spots on the blade make this saw bargain priced for a No 12. An excellent saw for fine cross cuts. As with all our first quality saws, this saw comes sharp, properly set and ready to cut.
